The concrete wall has been excavated, tamosealed and the foam has been glued to the wall. The height of the gray foundation liner will allow the existing grade to be raised so any surface water will flow away from the foundation. Jeff and Jeremy have applied 3/4" exterior-grade plywood furring strips/rain-screen through the foam and into the concrete foundation with structural screws.The green fibercement siding will be flashed at the top and around the windows to shed water.

As part of this project the Homeowners want to update the entryway using cedar for posts and fascia which will match last year's renovations on the southwest side of the house. We are exposing the porch framing here to tie the new siding into the new 1/2 posts.
