Completed project includes an additional railing detail on the upper deck that complements the lower railing. The upper deck also received a new EPDM roof membrane on the floor.
The original wood foundation was rotten and was replaced by stone piers, treated wood framing, and fir porch decking.
A new steel roof replaces a relatively new shingled roof that had failed and leaked. The ceiling of the porch was damaged and replaced with tongue & groove pine.
Original posts were salvaged and set on cast concrete caps.
